Map sensor an. Running rough please help
Ok I got an 84 c4 it sat up for a bit. It was free to me. It wouldn't stay running when I first got it. I replaced wires cap rotor fuel filter oil filter. Tested TPS it was .51 idle. An 2.55 WOT. Had map sensor code. An o2 sensor code. Checked map sensor. Has. Constant 5volt supply. None of this worked. Until today. I pulled injector off to clean an check everything. An I missed it at first. But the gasket was a home made gasket an the space for the pressure regulator was blocked. On both. Fixed that soaked injectors. Put back together. An car fired up. Would die after a few minutes. I unplugged the vac line to MAP sensor. It ran fine at idle an you could rev up motor now. It would almost die after a WOT rev but wouldn't. So I swapped. MAP sensors did not make a differance. So now I am at a dead end it runs yes it drives yes just not like I want it to. Oh yes I let it run for a good while in drive way it does smell a little rich. I think or burning off old deposits not sure. Need help please.
