Well it's straight forward and simple.
1)jack up the car
2)remove the exhaust
3)remove the leaf spring (some say theirs a special way to do it with a leaf spring compressor but mine just came out)
4) support the tranny on a stand
5)remove the c-beam
6)remove the rest of the rear suspension(toe rods and camber struts)
7) unbolt half shafts/driveshaft
8) jack up the rear end
9) remove the two bolts that are holding the batwing(diff cover) in the car.
10) you might be able to do it your self but me and two buddy's held it as the jack came down.
One thing you might want to do is put some weight in the rear of the car so it doesn't upset the weight on the jack stands. Took me two hours the c-beam is the hardest part. Good luck
Ther is no reason to remove the c beam. You just remove the bolts where the rear axle connects to the c beam. You can leave the c beam bolted to the trans, just keep it supported. Get all your universals replaced when you have the rear out. Also, make sure you mark your drive shaft rear axle yoke before disassembly or you may be out of balance.
