A superram or worked SR will blow the ltr setup in the weeds.

Unless hogged to high heaven (and possibly cut/welded) SLPs can't keep up with a superram. Even if SLPs are hogged, they'd still lose.

Get away with? Yeah. Lots of torque to 3k rpms. Then, everybody out of the pool!

I agree with both guys above, the only LTR system that would even come close would be the FIRST Intake system, but even this would fall short of the SuperRam.The problem is Superrams are getting hard to find, and when you do find one its usually either missing original parts or its been ported poorly by amateurs..WW

We actually haven't seen a back-to-back comparison of these two intakes. From what we HAVE seen, the FIRST is stronger up to ~5k rpms. A SuperRam is better above that. Depending on shift points, the ability to win a 1/4m race could go either way.

For a street intake, I'd pick the FIRST. But, I think in terms of the 6sp I'm running and like an engine to hit hard in whatever gear you land. The FIRST might even be a bit more fuel efficient since LTR intakes reach VE at a lower RPM.
