Sent my 3.5 computer off for latest upgrade to 6.5 for my 95 with LT 4 base engine !
I've had to have someone tune mine for me cause the system as it came out was not user friendly !
Also had others on here contact me for advice just to get theirs up and running !
If you have the old program it's well worth the bucks to send it in and get the upgrade to 6.5 USB !

You will loose any saved tunes but they will program your tune back in to start with !
You will now be able to select your setup and have no problem getting started !
It just asks a few questions with the hardest ones cam lobes and duration type Distributor and Injector size , cubic inches . How many bars .
You put that in for a base start up !

There are also about ten already stored set ups if you are lazy .

Now that the thing is so user friendly I plan on getting seriously into playing with it !
I already found my last paid tune was way to rich because I forgot to tell him I was running a 185 degree thermostat .

The thing is now living up to its potential !

I've been playing with my old school Monte Carlo track car adding nitrous and other upgrades and haven't done anything to the vette for a while !
Gen 7 still doesn't have Vista but I have Windows 7 on my laptop !
You can always go to a computer store and get a good copy of Windows 7 loaded in !
Not a spits worth of difference except in the looks anyway !

The old 3.5 version used a serial port which most laptops no longer have so that's why the upgrade to USB ports . The 6.5 version as I said has many setups ready to load and a much better setup.
It's like comparing a B17 to a B 2 .
