Thanks for the quick reply.. I,m not sure what to replace it with , any suggestions? Have been having intermittent starting problems.. some time when i turn the key i get one click,, then if i try again right away it will start perfect.. trying to narrow it down, thinkg it might be the starter, but if I leave the head lights on for about 1 minute it wont start then either until I turn the lights off .. I'm a little confused..

What is your alternator putting out? I had similar symptoms with my 96.
I replaced the alternator, battery and starter. My starter was damaged due to heat soak. Now it starts up fine. Don't just replace replace the battery, you may have a faulty alternator, check to see whats its charging out. Be careful about where you get a starter. I got mine at Autozone, but some have not been lucky with buying a refurb unit. Good luck.
the alternator is putting out around 14.5 volts.. I just thought the battery might be going bad when it wouldn't start it after leaving the lights on for a minute with the engine shut off..
My 94 did that a couple weeks ago. I started by seeing if the battery terminals had gotten loose. Turned out thats all it was, maybe its all the wrong with yours too?
I found that the Sears Platinum (it's made by Odyssey) is cheaper and easier to find. The number of Odyssey dealers is limited.
I went to the Sears Platinum after two Optima batteries in a row died an early death. The second one was 11 days past the "two years free replacement" date.
