I am checking the feed line before injector rails - when I turn the power on (But not start the car) I get a stream of fuel - about 2 - 3 seconds.. Is the this ok.. Or should the fuel be a pumping out in a continuous stream with the power on but not having the engine on??
Also I have checked the fuel pressure and it is about 20 - 25 psi.. I have changed the pump unit and fuel filter???
Can the injectors be causing the psi to be low at the rails??? Should I use a Injector cleaning system to
Clean the injectors
Pump will only run for 2-3 seconds, unless engine is running. Your pressure is way too low.
Does the car run ?
Is that pressure with engine running or just ignition turned to run ?
This is with the car running.. When it runs in cold start - will run over
but will stop and if it does run it will run for a min to serveral mins and
than shut off... I was think it was the fuel as it will be run and then it stop. Please note this car has been down for years...
