What's the difference? in instrument clusters
What's the difference, if any in a instrument cluster for 84-89 vettes. I see some guys asking if it is for an automatic or standard. I'm gonna need one and want to know IF there is a difference.

There is no difference between auto and standard dashes. There are 5 different 84-89 dashes with slight changes, but they are interchangable in that period. Anyways to match your original dash 100%, you need a late-86 to 88 dash.

As I recall, cruise control, grounds, US/Canadian/Export. There is a sticker on top of the cluster with a number. According to Gordon Killebrew's Cluster Repair Book, OEM '87 US with cruise is #25083577. Replacement # for all '87's is 25083582.
