Tachometer Wire...I'm drawing a blank.
Car: 1987 with Accel HEI coil on factory distributor
Which one is it? The white one or the pink one?
The coil says "Tach" over the red connector. :confused: But the wiring schematic shows the white as the output, and pink as hot from the ignition. The filter is on the white too.

the White wire that goes to the filter should be the tach Line...

You're right, I got out there(to the car) and it was obvious. I'm never had instruction in reading schematics and I read it wrong. I asked our Avionics guy at work, and he straigtened everything out.
