OK, I've tried everything to get my ABS light to shut off. Bosch tester showed all wheel sensors working as well as the pump. I've put a new module in and now I've put a new relay in. Still, the ABS light stays on.
Last thing, and then I give up. The main wiring harness that plugs into the module, there's a double wire with a clip on the end coming from that harness. It isn't attached to anything and I don't see anything it could attach to. The double wire is white and dark green with a white stripe. Can someone tell me where this goes, what it attaches tom if indeed it's supposed to attach to anything.
It's the green and white wires that go to a black clip.
OK. Found the answer. Called my mechanic friend and he had taken a diode connector off when he was first trouble shooting my ABS system. It's a little clear plastic piece that has a diode attach at the end. He had put it in my center compartment that I didn't even know he did that. Fit like a glove onto the end of the green and white wires.
Only thing is, I started the car with everything connected and the ABS light still stayed on. He had to go but said I should take the negative battery off for awhile, put it all back together and take it for a ride so the ABS would recognize the wheel sensors. Will do that first thing tomorrow.
Sometimes all of the electrical components work but the wheel bearings could be the problem. I don't know how to check if the sensors are having problems reading the wheels properly.
