1989 Corvette question
The wheels on my car are getting some oxidation not much but some and half od the wheel in random spot looks like it is loosing the clear coat on them.
I was hoping someone could explain to me how I can fix this problem to make them look brand new again.

Clearcoat has to be stripped with industrial quality (aircraft grade ) paint stripper.
Usually takes several applications to remove all
Then your choice of having them professionally re polished or doing as many here have done;
spend some time sanding with wet and dry paper taking out the watermarks and working your way
up to >1200 grit then polish
Once polished can either be re coated or just buffed regular with something like Mother's
to keep the shine
