Code 36 Help
This time when I tried to clear it I could not. What is this about? What do I need to do to cure it? Last time someone mentioned a relay replacement, but since it never reappeared I just forgot about it.
This occurred when I started it up this morning, in very foggy humid conditions, I believe the weather was the same last time. When I turned it off yesterday everything ran fine, I did have the AC on yesterday. Any connections with weather? A/C?. Late '86 Aluminum Heads 105k miles
thanks in advance

Most folks just change both. I know there was some controversy on the correct part numbers for each, so best is to go with GM replacements unless you can confirm the right aftermarket numbers.
Good Luck

When I started up on the way home the SES light stayed off( Icleared the code).
It went back on again today, I cleaned the connection to the inner relay,( I thought that was the the burn off) no change, Sunday I'll clean the other .
I'm going to order new ones on Monday anyway.
