Airbag Interchangeability ?
Hello,
My '94 has the dreaded broken horn buttons and after having no luck finding another set (that will probably break again) I am going to change the steering wheel to an '01 Camaro style with metal contacts.
So, my question is: will the airbag from the Camaro work with the '94 Vette wiring, clockspring, etc ? I did not want to just plug it in and blow the airbag, may end up looking like this guy:
BTW if anyone else is thinking of something like this, I picked up a whole steering column and wheel for $40 and the column is nearly identical.
