MAT sensor location & Superram
Guys,
I am thinking of relocating the MAT sensor once I have the bugs worked out. The shorter superram runners seem to transmit more heat up to the plenum. The plenum stays very warm to the touch for quite a while after the car is off even at night.
Diacom shows MAT levels of 118* during the run. There can't possibly be any way that the air is heated up THAT fast to acheive these levels before entering a cylinder.
Is it a worthy mod to do at this point?

Well I thought I had heard that the MAT sensor does not do that much for the MAF cars (85-89) but in the MAP cars it is more useful..
I moved the Sensor on mine long ago.. did I notice a change?? NOPE.. but now with the Miniran I had to move it anyway

At least you will know that the dang computer will be getting the correct info on the Air temp. It sure can't hurt.
