Default No fuel pressure

I replaced my intake gasket. While doing so I made a few other mods, cleaned and replaced some perishables (EGR valve ETC.)

While re-assembling, before I got too far, I wanted to check for fuel leals before I put back the runners, plenum, TB, hoses and the other junk back on.

So....fuel lines are attached, cold start injector is in, drivers side runner torqued down and I'm getting no fuel pressure. I DO hear the fuel pump kick in.

Am I missing anything?

Might want to check the fuel pressure fuse and the fuel pressure relay.

It is probably your fuel gauge hose not pushing the needle in on the schrader valve. With the fuel pump running, manually push the needle in carefully to see if pressure exists.

About 1 out of every 3 times, my schrader valve gets all cattywhompus in the bore. ***** sideways and makes a mess after I finally get it recentered.

Thanks for the ideas boys but still no luck

I took the fuel pressure guage off and depressed the stem....no pressure.

Fuse is fine.

Haynes manual says to "energize the fuel pump by supplying battery voltage to terminal G on the ALCL"

I know where terminal G is but which other terminal can I use to get the battery voltage from(paper clip trick). Maybe it doesn't matter?

Houston...............We have pressure

It was a combination of cranking down the AFPR and Turning the key several times to get the pressure built up.
