Another post on the little white clip!
Take a look at this Corvette Central part number...
Item# 454010
It's the same as the one I broke on my '85 with manual AC. As I posted in an earlier post, I searched high and low for the better part of a year for this part, and ended up buying a complete heater box from fleabay because it had the rod with the clip I needed. Too late for me, I see that Corvette Central has them, so next time I break it I can get a new one from them. Hopefully this will work for you...
