92 LT1 Shifter Cable
I have a 92 LT1 with a shifter cable that seems to be binding up. I have purchased a new cable. My question is how do you get the rubber boot out
that the cable feedsthru from the top to bottom side side of the car. It looks as if you have to remove the instrument panel.
Is there any easier way to do this??

You will have to take the console trimplate(the part with the shift indicator) off. There are two screws under the console lid and one in the front cup holder. Drop me an email if you would like a pic from the manual. randebtux@aol.com :cheers:
