Bad shape MAF sensor
Here is a pic of my MAF sensor. do you think is in bad shape.
may be this is the cause of all my idle problems.
what are the symptoms of a bad Maf
any body have a picture of an good shape maf. just to compare

I believe part of your sensor is missing.
Might be time to replace.

Look for another MAF, that one is garbage.
If you want a pic of what it should look like, I'll take one when I get home from the beach.

Stock MAF with screens in place. Keep them, they are there to improve laminar flow, for a better measurement.
Looking through the screen at ONE piece sensor wire.

Yeah the maf sensor wires are very sensitive, yes keep the screen on any bits of dust or water at full throttle can do damage to an unprotected maf.
Here is hoping you dont have to open the hood until the next oil change once the new maf is fitted

It probably has been throwing codes, won't know until he fixes the info panel with the SES light.
