Default 94 to 96 O2 sensor pinout

I want to put a 94-96 front pre cat O2 sensor on my 91. It is a delco afs-75 or gm# 25312184 It has a 4 pin connector and wires as follows. A tan B violet C and D brown. I am thinking A sensor ground B sensor signal and Cand D heater. If anyone has the factory wiring with colors and pin positions I would appeciate it.The harness colors may be different than the sensor so might have to follow the diagram to see what the pin positions are for. Thanks for any help. Dave

Your pin-out A - B - C & D are how I've read using a 4-wire heated in place of a single wire is done. I believe in an actual application that uses 4-wire the terminology is different: A is considered LOW, B is considered HIGH, C is meant for engine ground and D is for switched 12V. In an actual application I believe both A & B are connected to ECM/PCM

Yes when I said sensor ground zero volts or sensor return sensor low etc might have been better. Are you saying my assumptions on wire color / function are correct?

For GM/OE in the car

A - Tan

B- Purple

C- Black

D-Pink

A Service/replacement sensor since C & D are heater yes they both could be brown. Your assumptions are correct!
