Will you be offering two 1" cores, 1.25", or both varieties?
Also I've always wondered: does the portion of the rad below the outlet (which is rather high on pre 90 vettes) actually do much? Does the coolant passing thru those lower tubes circulate or just sit in the bottom of the end tank?
Reason I ask is I saw Fluidyne has a stacked set with a radiator on top and a 4-5" tall oil cooler at the bottom. So if that area of the radiator isn't doing much, it's a perfect spot for serious oil cooling. Maybe you could make us up some Corvette kits with fittings, hoses, etc!
We are only going to do the 1.0" tube version. Test results show that these are about 30% better than a stock brass model and as much as 100% better than the single row aluminum jobs used in C4s. The 1.25" models cost about $150 more and only add about 5% more cooling. Not worth the additional money I think. As far as the tube connection goes, the fluid crosses over through all the tubes equally, then flows to the outlet. td
