Default DeWitts new racing radiators

DeWitts reproductions (sponsor) will be manufacturing our own line of racing radiators for C4 & C5's. These are not made by others and re-sold by DeWitts.

The original GM radiator is a single row aluminum core, with plastic end tanks. The tanks are held on by small "crimp tabs" and sealed with a rubber gasket. Failures and overheating are common. The new racing feature two rows of tubes and press formed tanks. The heavy guage aluminum tanks is tig welded to the header for a leak free system. These are direct fit designs, meaning no modifications are required, and they do not use epoxy. These will be available this summer and cost about $100 less than the competition. We are making some prototypes now with fabricated tanks until the pressed versions are competed, if you want one of these write me or call 810-220-0181 est.

Excellent. Will the factory tranny cooler connections be present also? My stick car uses them because of the overdrive unit on the transmission (a 2-speed auto) requires cooling.

I'll buy one, I've been looking at some for time now. I would still be interested to know what the price is going to be since I get a discount with Griffen.

Tom;

I have been looking to replace my radiator really soon, please contact me when you have your new radiator ready for consumers. A double row cooling system would be great for those really hot days out here in the West.

IF the price is good, I'm in on one for my 96 LT4 with no auto trans cooler loop. Please keep us posted on the availability time and what a firm group price will be.

Default Parties interested

I will post again when we are ready for a group buy. We are making some custom ones now as we wait on the press formed end tanks. The tanks we have now are fabricated from flat sheet, bent, and welded, like B/C does. This is ok but I think the final product will look better. If you're in a hurry to get something email me or call 810-220-0181 and we will talk.
