Wont turn. Checked fuse. Fuel pump runs when hotwired. That ruled out bsd pump. Why cant i pull codes. Not even a check engine will turn on when i put it in the on position
VATS issue? It has a feature that stops the fuel pump, I believe. I don't know too much about it but I know it shuts down a few things if the resistance of the key doesn't check out on initial starting procedure.

If the center display is DEAD...does nothing, then investigate that.
The pump going thru prime cycle is managed by the ECM and pump relay. Test pump relay for power in/out.
Assuming there is NO cranking...no starter operation? or no engine firing?
either way, look at your jumper post at the hot wire stack. Those get loose, dirty and corroded. They are also managed by fusable links under the battery. If the ECM is not getting power its not going to do much to run the engine.
Grounds are always worth looking for..,.by the oil filter..a bunch of 'em.
its easy enough to drop the ECM and check the plugs,. and as suggested, DO pull some fuses and look.
Confirm your pump run/no run with a fuel test gauge. Then you can see what the pump is doing..or not.
The SERVICE ENGINE SOON light should come on when you turn on the ignition (without starting the engine). If that doesn't happen then you should go back and read Agent 86's post.
The ECM runs the fuel pump for 2 seconds at key on.
Thinking about this further... It sounds like your ECM is not getting power or is zapped. It turns on the SES light. It gets power through a fusible link from the positive battery cable through this connector:
