Fuel gauge problem

Fuel gauge problem
Ever since I bought the 92 Vette last December the fuel gauge has been reading full constantly.
I just changed out the fuel injectors and disconnected the battery as directed. Reconnected the battery and now the fuel gauge reads empty with the "reserve" and "check gauges" illuminated. There is atleast 18 gallons in the tank.
The car started right up with the new injectors running a little rough that smoothed out as the electronics reset. It runs great but would like a working fuel gauge without the warnings illuminated.
