I was feeling so cocky about repairing my code 32 problem.....replaced EGR valve, and EGR solenoid weekend before last. Everything was great until this morning coming to work.....SES light came on, and when I parked I checked the codes, and sure enough - 32 is back.
Any clues as two what to check first? Thanks, all, in advance.....I appreciate the help very much.
Thanks, guys for the help - I think I'll try the gas cap thing. Man, if that stops it, I'm going to kick myself for not trying it before I went through the EGR installation.
I'd wondered if a 32 would hurt anything - thanks for the input. :)
I'm not sure if a 91 is the same as an 89 but on my 89 I got rid of the 32 by replacing a damaged EGR temp. switch. It is located on the EGR tube that goes from the exhaust manifold to the engine, it kind of looks like a little tiny O2 sensor with one green wire coming out of it. It takes about 5 minutes to swap out and costs about $12 at the dealer. :yesnod:
