Do you mean that you just switch the Red and Black wires?
Does the Fuel Level Sendor wiring the same?

How do I order it with the 3 position connector for a 1986 Corvette?

Yes, depending on the model of pump we/you can swap the polarity of the pump wires. The factory level sender wire is either reused or replaced with the one in this kit.

When you checkout you can specify your 3-position connector requirement in the web basket's note section. We will change the connector for you.

Can I use 1989-1996 Gas Tank Sending Unit in a 1986?

using this kit, on the outside of the tank there is a black wire. Is there anywhere recommended to ground this to?

also do I need to change the polarity on the walbro 465?
