I loved my vette but I am a diehard mopar guy since my first one at 15.That was 21 years ago and I still have one old mop lying around. They are kinda like vettes in that they are expensive to build.
Hit it with a 100 shot and you won't stop smiling.More gear may get you that 11 sec slip just depends on how much hwy driving you do.
Don't know what rpm your converter is stalling at but a good unit may improve your 60ft and that helps everywhere.
Sounds like you are about maxed out on a stock bottom end so keep that in mind and start building a stout shortblock for some big boy fun.
Pete K built my converter, brake stall is only around 1800, flash stall is around 2500, a little tighter than it should be. A new short block is in the future with more cubes for sure.

If I were you Ditch caring about useless e.t and work on getting the mph up. At that speed you're barely faster than a bone stock 1997 c5 with long tubes.
I think so as well, my friend was with when I ran at the track and he said it sounded like I was shifting at 4500, the tach was at 6000, but who knows how accurate that is?

I think his wife actually ran a best of 11.71@118 before it kicked the rods out of the stock bottom end.
You already have a pretty good running car. Be careful chasing that 11.9X time slip.... You really don't have the MPH to get there without knocking a ton off your 60ft, and that is going to start breaking rear end stuff.
The best way IMO, is to have those heads ported and pick it up on the big end.... It's not a cheap solution but neither is replacing that D44 every weekend.

I have never been happy with those TF 21* heads, I think they could use a lot of work. Just have to figure out who to do them.

I've only had my car at the track once since installing a new engine and that was back in July. I'm hoping to be .4 or .5 quicker when I hit the track again in mid November.
Weather was good, maybe 70 or so with a slight head wind. I am sure some cooler air would help. My car seems to make the most power in the 160* range.
