I need to do all of these eventually. What you would you do first? I can get two out of the way by the end of the summer. Once these are out of the way, I will be shopping for that stroker or C6, whatever comes first.

Anybody who does NOT vote to repair the tranny is nuts. Fix that ZF6 before it goes. Big $$$$ for another 'fresh' one.

Been that way for going on three years thanks to the cags. I just don't power shift(unless its really needed, maybe once a month) and I haven't had any problems or grinds at all. I really think it stems back to all the bad shifts I had before I got the cags disabled. I've put it off because I'm leary of the possible scary price and
A) don't want someone who doesn't know the tranny working on it
B) don't want to be without my babe for 2 weeks while it goes cross country to be repaired in Arizona or Florida.

Scorp, realistically, how much do you think to get the syncros replaced?

Remember the old Fram commercials? Pay me now, or pay me later?

1. Fix the ZF.
2. 4.10s
3. Belt up, hit cinch, drive hard, have fun :D

When you're having fun in the driver's seat, you can't see the seat cover, won't remember if lumbar works, and won't have time to look out the top or see if it's even there - with it off there's more helmet room anyway.

try the ZF doc for pricing on repairing your synchronizers... then decide.. its still not cheap, but if you want absolute assurance its going to someone with the experience and skill needed to work your trans properly.. he's you guy!

if you have any problems with your tranny now.. your going to hate the B&M.. it will grind much more and power shifting becomes a far of fantasy.. you will most likely utterly destry whats left or the new synchros you installed.... go Hurst.. excellent and i have tried both a few times.. it is far superior in a broad spectrum of range.. but if you only care for shirt shifting then the B&M wins out.. its certainly short.. and with a fresh trans could operate fine.. 4.10's are certainly a fun investment... the kidney, well.... ya might wanna hold on to that, im sure you'll be missing it when it comes time to part with the car!

Best regards,
Chris
