96 Corvette C4 (p)
I purchased this car recently, and found that the doors 'sometimes' lock automatically when I walk away from the car, and sometimes don't. The Ignition key seems to have a 'chip' installed on it, and I believe that 'should talk' to the locking mechanism?? I think.
Also, I have 2 'clickers' which came with the car...one clicker 'did work' the other didn't. However, now the one that 'worked' isn't.
Is there a 'fix' for this problem?

It has proximity sensors in relations to your key fobs.
There is a process to enable/disable that feature.
Edit: Its called the PASSKEY
Found in the owner's manual - begins on page 48.
