Accelerator Pedal Switch...LOST.
I have posted about this before and have pursued to fix accordingly. but I am lost as to my setup. I just finished a th400 rebuild and the detent wire has never been connected (probably why the intermediate clutch was damaged). In attempts to remedy the problem I searched and found useful info. I started at the pedal and this is what I found an additional pigtail unattached dongled to the switch connector. What is it for?
And how do I test the switch? I'm guessing a simple light tester since its 12v current.

What year? Your profile says '73, which would be a C3, not C4.
What's the color code on the wire. What sort of connector? It could
be for clutch switch on a manual (to disengage the cruise control).

Yes its just a simple on/off switch needing 12 volt positive . I used to have a C3 with a TH400. You should really have posted this in C3 tech though.
