Default Paging Red94Vette:

Would you mind doing a comparison with your cool dyno/ quater mile simulator when you have a chance?? (it seems to be the most accurate thing out there..) My current setup is listed in my sig.. The mild head porting is VERY mild (pretty much just had the casting bumps smoothed off). I am considdering upgrading to a Hotcam, and would be interested to see what the effect is.. If you need any more info, let me know. Thanks! :)

hey.. I see ya.

Lemme tell you what's up.

See, My drag sim is pretty accurate with the right horsepower/ torque curve. I haven't made an engine sim, but I do plan on making one. So with nothing to fall back on I have to rely on the folks that make dyno2000 to make my power curves, then that's where my programing comes in.

So, I can't just say, "you will run this!" using their estimated power.

Their selections menu is pretty limiting for what I want to calculate. But I will give it my best shot.

If you could give it your best shot, that would be greatly appreciated! :) I am just looking for some general idea of what kind of performance increase I can expect. Thanks!!
