Hmmmmmm that's really weird??? I bought the same harness bar at Carlisle last year and mine don't have those top brackets???
I guess it's a good thing!
This is the Terry Farber Bar. See how you have those little supports on the wheel well? The AS&M bar doesn't have those supports. Just the two that connect to the roof panel.

Yup you guys are right, I always thought it was a AS&M bar...............looks like the guy who sold it to me had the wrong info stuck to it.
I have the AS&M bar as well - yes, taking the top off is a PITA now but I just carry a simple allen wrench for the rear bolts. Just be careful and you can put the top back on without help.
Ack, yeah i can see why you wouldnt like the way the brackets work. I was looking into a harness bar for my car awhile back, and found this really slick looking set-up. I dont have pictures or the website :cry because i had to reformat my computer.
Basically it was shaped like this \_______/ where the top parts of the "u" connected to the seatbelt mounts. Then there were rods that dropped went down from the bottom of the bar and attached to the bottom seatbelt mount. Looked SO  i almost cried
Speaking of this bar, Anyone know what im talking about? who manufactured it and their website would be great.
