1985 c4

In the process of an overhaul and/or installing a crate engine. Any advice?

Also considering a used engine - a garage in my area says they have a 1989 Trans Am 350, insists it will fit. My research says it will not. Anyone have information on this?

A SBC of any size is a SBC ; they all physically interchange
What you would do is fit your intake and front accessories to any replacement long motor ,

yours has a 2 pc rear main seal the 89 2. You can get a different flexplate to use it.
