Headlight bucket assembly question
I recently got a Toledo-Pro hood and I need to fill the headlight holes. I initially started to cut some aluminum sheet (as I don't want the weight of the whole headlight assembly while I'm just using the car for track days) when it occured to me if it's possible to just use the stock top (flat) portion of the assembly and then make some simple brackets to bolt them in. That would save me some time and labor. So my question is does the assembly "disassemble" in that fashion so that I can just look around to buy just the cover portions of the headlight assembly?

Takes a long 1/4 drive extension and a 10mm socket to reach thru the assy to the door bolts to remove...door lifts off. Just unblot the whole headlite actuator frame...6 -10mm nuts..cake. You can tape the doors in place and leave the actuator frame/motor out if you want to.
