Would like to know from you guys that have replaced a convertible top on a C4. what top maker did you use. anyone use Al Knoch? what about tops that Mid America sells, or these year models all made by one company that they resell? would like to get some feed back on your top make and how it fit. would like to know only about using vinyl. thanks
I purchased a top from Al Knock. But I have not installed it yet. Mine is just the basic white vinyl top with teh plastic window. Also, I purchased his install dvd which I have watched once. But I believe it will be very useful. The top looks fine in the box but cant tell you any more then that for now.
I can email you a photo, it will not let me post one on here. send me your email an I will send you some photos of the top. dont just do a private email on here it will not let me post one on that email either.
Im also going to convert mine to glass rear window (even though I hate to add weight) so that I can tint the windows. Which I think looks on black cars.

HAARTZ tops are great and look cool, but I think they only come in black.
I'm pretty suire that ALL white tops on early C4 roadsters were vinyl and all black tops were the fuzzy HAARTZ tops.
