Rear carpet falls down?

Rear carpet falls down?
Every time i take the car out for a ride the rear carpet falls down where it meets the privacy screen. Are there screws under the plastic moulding that are supposed to keep this thing from falling or am i just going to have to use double sided tape. Didnt want to pull the plastic off if it isnt going to help. thanks.

I had this problem, carpet riped out from the screws and it has shrunk, so no way to reattach using same screws. I tried double sided tape, didn't work. Get some 3M spray adhesive at the auto-parts store, spray on back panel and underside of carpet (sprays out like lace, or a web) and this should do it.

The holes are ripped and the carpet is warped looking. I guess i'll have to watch out for those back seat passengers as well. :blueangel:

Actually there are 4 of them and they are metal. I'm replacing the carpet in my '93 right now. The new(used) carpet was torn at the holes, but I put the clips on tight enough where the carpet won't even move.

I cut a new hole and used zip ties to connect the carpet to the screws. Looks good (can't see anything) and holds just fine.
