my wife is thinking about getting a new lap top. So now I can have her old one.
What information if any/or what can I do with my stock L 98?

I'm confused with your post! Are you trying to sell your L98 or upgrade the performance?

If your looking to use your lap top to scan the L98 there is a cable adapter and software out there. I have never used but seen it mentioned here on the Forums. Also check this thread http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-s...-read-ecm.html

Like 1984 I think you are looking to scan your cars powertrain operation. If so there are two programs that seem to be the standard. Datamaster which you have to buy after 20 trial runs and TunerPro RT which is a freebie. Check the Scan and Tune section for tons and tons of information.

Purge the laptop of any unwanted **** or illicit emails so as not to excite the delicate Corvette computer.

I was going to sell my car and cut the household budget after I lost my job and my health problems. But y family said no way will you part with your car. I gave my pick up to my brother. then talking to the insurance company about my meds for over a year. and they would not budge. due to cost. Then after my next Dr. visit I get a call from the hospital, That the meds will be fedex delivered. The cost is 18,984.81 per month for 3 months. I hope it works.
Anyway my 90 vert will stay home until the money runs out.
