Yes and no
All T700's are physically the same
Vette trans has different programming ( valve body and governor ) for shift points.
Vette trans has a special , shorter tailshaft housing to mount the C Beam so you would have to swap that over
to the new trans and most have then had to cut 3/4" off the output shaft because that is too long with the shorter housing
........... Your sig is Blown1987 ... if your combo does indeed include forced induction a stock trans will be at a distinct disadvantage life expectancy-wise ... much like the wounded trans in your car now ..... the 700R4 is a sturdy , reliable trans much like a Dana 36 rear ... most will survive the average driver in an average vehicle ... but few will live through real abuse without special attention and some expensive parts ..........
Thank you, guess I'm just gonna have it rebuilt with upgraded parts and a shift kit. It does have a procharger and a few other mods but its my show car i rarely abuse or get on the car. Clutch packs went because of the tv cable not adjusted correctly.
