Let's start simple. Does the ASR lamp come on when the ASR button is pressed?
Is it possible the ASR lamp does not light but the ASR is working?

Have you check the ASR fuse #27 (5A) in the passenger door. In would say "CLUSTER".

Traction control (ASR) touches many sensors and system boxes in the car. I'm sure you checked the plugs and connectors where you were. I know you has lots of stuff apart.

The light dose not come on but the system is working. I can not turn it off is what the problem is. I will check the fuse but i am guessing that is not it due to the it kicks on when i try to spin the tires and the light flashes like always.

Everything in the car works fine and is as it was. Just cant turn off the ASR.

Oh and the light dose not come on when i press the button.

Thanks for the additional details.

Well, nice shot at your logic, makes sense but it's wrong. The circuit does not work that way as I have reviewed the FSM schematics. The voltage from the fuse is used as an input to turn the ASR off. The voltage does come thru the ASR switch to pin 28 of the EBTCM (brake computer).

The same supply voltage is used to power the high side of the ASR OFF "indicator lamp" at which the EBTCM takes the low side of the lamp to ground and lights it (after is sees the ASR OFF input)

So I suggest to check the fuse first. Also with the ignition to the ON position, one side of the ASR switch should have 12 volts.

On the surface not much of the ASR stuff is near the heater core and right side of car. At first glance I done see the relationship between the different areas of the core and the brake stuff and how it could be affected. (Just a general observation, probably means nothing).
