best long tubes for angle plug heads
have a set of lingenfelter long tubes that are not compatible with the trick flow twisted wedge heads i want to run. (all mounted then found out the spark plugs wouldn't fit/clear everything) so have to remove and start over.
can someone suggest another brand long tube? (preferably from personal experience, not hearsay)
car is an 84 auto

If the LPE long tubes won't clear your plugs you must not have bought the L98 specific TFS twisted wedge heads. You are going to have a hard time finding a header that will fit. It sounds like the heads you have are the regular old chevy angle plug design.

the heads go back probably 7-8 years, used them on a small block powered boat, which i had before the vette. so i guess i wasn't aware there was a l98 specific head. what's different on the l98 specific head Vs. a general small block head?
