My 89 is idling up and down and very unstable. It has 37 k and is completely stock, im going to replace injectors and was wondering whats the best ones out there to buy?
Why throw parts when there are a multitude of other things to be checked first?
ever look at the IAC? Idle Air Control?
vac leaks?
TPS?
EGR?
all of which can cause unstable idle. You don't have the miles to justify tossing injectors....age, yes, miles, no. Look into other things before wasting time and money and the risk of creating other problems.
When it comes time,. Call Jon.....@ FIC look on YouTube under fuel injector.

I'm changing my originals right now. I went with bosh III @ 22lbs after reading that they were a good replacement to stock. If yours are original then probably time to change. That rough idle could be any one of a number of things including your throttle body is leaking, plus what the guys mentioned above.
I don't know if it's still true, but Accel injectors used to be repackaged Ford Motorsports injectors.
I recommend Jon at FIC. The best customer service you will ever find. VERY knowledgeable and will bend over backwards to make you happy. That's what I have in my car.
