Will a rear 1988 Z52 sway bar work on a 1992? If this would work I assume it would be an upgrade over the stock? The guy didn't say what MM it is. I believe the Z51 Z52 had stiffer springs but not sure about the sway bar.
You measure yours - have him measure his! Is his "solid" or "tubular" - how about yours? I'd prefer I believe "solid" and the larger the diameter the more "performance" orientated it should be!
I wouldn't rely on Z-this or Z-that - it's dimensions and construction!

I tried to cut n paste the source but it wouldn't work...I wanted everyone to know the origen of the info.
This is exactly whats on Hib Halversons suspension reference chart for all C4s by yr & trim....
and yeah, I agree with alot of the labels and tags...what is a performance package opposed to the Z51? or the "sport" suspension? where does z52 fit in between sport and performance?
Too confusing..

Z51 was considered to be the "Performance Suspension" and the Z52 was the "Sport Suspension" and was available only in 87 and 88. The Z52 package used the base springs, Bilstein "Sport" shocks, oil cooler, aux radiator fan, and the coupes got the triangular front crossmember frame stiffeners. The sway bar sizes varied based on the body (coupe or convertible).
Here's the link to the chart that Halverson built, but I have heard that it may not be 100% correct.
