88 was a "transition" year. The front shock perches may or may not be the same size as the earlier years. The knuckles and A-arms are fine, its just the shock towers that may need some massaging.
IIRC you may need to do some fabrication to get the sway bar so it doesn't hit the springs.
originally I had my setup lower, but that caused the a-arm to point UP (Dihedral) stock they point down (anhedral)
Mine without coil overs is about 1/2" anhedral...I wouldn't go any further down. As it is, I've rubbed the race tires on the underside of the hood a few times...I couldn't imagine it being any lower!

For most people they are an expensive lowering kit. For track use they can take some knowledge and testing to get set correctly. There are many good things about them but the cost is a drawback. For track use put the money toward learning to drive better, it will make you faster then more expensive parts will.
