Auto Transmission Problem
Took my 95 for a 10 mile ride today and things were fine. Stopped for 1 hour , then got back in for the return trip. Started in Park - fine. Put in Reverse - fine. Put in Drive ( OD) and it starts in drive ( not 1st or 2ND ). Manually put it in 1st and it starts in 2nd and you can manually shift it to drive. Went out to the highway to see if overdrive was working and it was not. So the gears that are working are P, R, D, and 2 ( but 2 only works when you manually select it. Otherwise it will go forward in D ).
Any suggestions on a fix??

You probly need a rebuild. This just happened to mine I burnt the 3/4 clutch. If you want disconnect the electrical input to the tranny and drive it around the block. If you are able to manually shift into 3rd that means your tranny cant shift under normal pressure to third and the clutch cant hold.
