Fuel pressure
I checked my fuel pressure yesterday and it read 42 psi, I left the gauge on the car and checked it today (24 hrs. later) and it read 28 psi. Is this ok? How long should it hold? Car runs fine I was just wondering. Thanks

I'm confused. If you had fuel pressure when your car was running at 42psi then shut the car off it would eventually drop to nothing a day later. Only when you turn your key will the pressure build up again.

If the check valve in pump and regulator are working properly, you will hold some pressure for a very long time.
