Burnouts
Sorry guys this has taken me a little longer than I thought. I successfully modeled tire temps (the real deal). Check it out, you can see the tire heat up in “stages”. This stair step is due to the hot rubber patch leaving the ground and not heating anymore and then when it makes its way back to the ground it heats up some more. These temps are the constant tire patch that is currently on the ground. As the heated patch makes it way around it raises even more. This is a 1,2,3rd gear rolling burn out. You can see that the motor bogged down to a steady RPM in 3rd.
I bet there isn’t another program like this one. :jester
I think I got a little carried away with this little aspect of my program but I wanted the best.
Now I will jump on this beta setup and we can test this thing out
:seeya
I use this to keep track of where the hotspot on the tire is located. Also it's cool to see how many times the wheel spins over compared to a sticky run.
For example, I can see that a certain tire compound spins over 4 times before another tire compound made one revolution.
BTW, nice catch on the detail there. I know someone looked at it
