I have sea foamed many vehicles before but never one that has a carburetor or this big of an engine( i have done 3 mini trucks). I know size matters... hahaha... so should i up the dose to a can in the tank and a can through the brake booster? Or should i do half and half with booster and oil then the other in the gas. What combination? Also i am gonna spray some carb gum out cleaner too!
I agree with Slick. Put a can in the gas tank and maybe run some through the intake to clean the top end, but you should avoid adding it directly to the oil.

Brake Booster is the only way i'd do it. The inside of the Motor is probably not as bad as you think. Good way to get an idea is, look at the inside of the oil Cap. If it has more than normal Build up. Then make sure your EGR and PCV are working correctly and maybe add some to the oil. I Wouldn't even consider adding it to the fuel tank. I just wouldn't use it period.

WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH HERE? Why are you pouring something in your engine that you:
1. don't know what it is
2. don't know what it does
3. don't know where you should be pouring it (Seafoam claims that you can/should dump it in ALL you're engine's orifices(!). I feel that it should go in none.)
If you state your purpose, we might be able to assist you better. FYI, HERE is the MSDS. You'll see it's made up of Naptha, alcohol, and very light oil. It's an elixir.
Huh. Didn't know that a "dirty engine" (which is basically the result of poor maintenance) caused a loss of power. Other than clogged injectors which of course can be cured more effectively with proper injector cleaner.
You sure that you didn't get a little placebo action going on w/your trucks? My truck has never seen a bottle of Seafoam (or Marvel Mystery oil, or Slick 50, or Restor, or...) and at 240,000 HARD miles, still pulls Parley's Canyon at 80mph in 5th gear -same as it ever did. My "clean engine regimen" is oil changes at proper intervals with a good synthetic oil (which has detergent in it), keeping the air filter and under hood clean, and using a decent, brand-name gasoline from a busy station (Gasoline has detergent in it as well).
Anything else (carbon in the combustion chambers) only raises compressions and can result in pinging. This can be remedied with simple (and free) H20.
Well I run a carb on my engine. But I think the previous owner(I just bought on the 9th) did not maintain to well. That's why I wanted to sea foam then change fluids, spark plugs, and wires. Maybe the distributor cap too. Just do a full tune up
The proof is in what comes out the exhaust. Ive seafoamed tons in vehicles, not because of shotty upkeep but mostly the deposits in the engine from cheap gas and age. Ive added to the brake booster and fuel. However I wouldnt add to the oil. ZMax engine lube does well there. With said equipment ive been able to run my c5 20º cooler and get great mpg.

20* cooler huh? Right. Love to hear your *ahem* "reasoning" to explain that.
FYI, "Proof" is NOT in "what comes out the tail pipe". "What comes out the tail pipe" is smoke, and that is caused by the OIL component in the mix. Uneducated people making claims that "it's cleaning the engine b/c smoke came out" are only spreading lore, and misinformation.
Did you know that "deposits in the engine from cheap gas" ...well, that IS crapy maintenance (running sh!tty gas), but did you know that with decent gas it will self regulate anyway? I.e. it will burn itself off w/o the aid of any "magical elixirs". Even better, if you somehow do manage to accrue too much build up, plain old H20 will eliminated faster, and cheaper than an oil/alc/Naptha mix.
