Hola,
I have a C4 with auto trans - have not been driving much since there is ice on roads but it seems as if transmission is hard to put into gear - any ideas average 30 degs. could weather be a factor? Car is in unheated garage.
thanks Jim

Mine always gets a little harder to shift in winter, once the car gets on the road and warms up it gets back to normal..Also may want to check the shifting cable , sometimes the rubber boot on the linkage at the transmission breaks letting dirt and water get to the cable. This causes corrosion on the cable making it shift harder...WW
Maybe you've got slush freezing on the shift lever/cable at the transmission end?
If you do decide to replace your cable, DON'T buy a Dorman 16674 or ATP Y-747. They won't fit. Buy a Pioneer CA-1162, which fits perfectly. I got mine at AutoZone (had to special order it).
