Eric flowed the heads with a Wilson Ported manifold and the CFM dropped by 36 cfms starting at .500 lift and up to 1" ... His doing the intake next but it needs welding in few spots before he goes to work on it . Will post pics once the intake is done along with flow numbers with it bolted on .
Would like to see some more of Erics work
Funny how an intake can kill a head and how many overlook working over that part of it. Free power for the taking.
yeah it's crazy how people over look that part , This intake was ported and it killed the flow by 36 cfm ... Cant imagine what non ported cast intake would do . Eric will make that intake right , he's no fluff and buff kinda guy .. lol
Those aren't ports, they are toilet bowls. That thing should haul.
I sure hope so .. I have all the part to finish the motor now, all i need is a camshaft and pushrods . Trying to keep this motor low on maintenance, so were keeping the RPM to 8000 max . I'm gonna start a build thread as soon as i get the heads and intake back and will post up results from the engine dyno in the next few months ...
