Default Engine stand mounting areas.....

I am not getting a response to this in the C5 area, so I will try here. I posted earlier how I got my LS-1 motor, and now I finally got an engine stand. I can't figure out where the bolt the damn thing to the stand. Do I just mount it to the bell housing bolt holes, which don't go all the way through and which doesn't seem very safe? I can't find anywhere that bolts can go through the bell housing mounting area. The engines I have worked on before have bolt holes that go all the way through, but those have mostly been imports. :seeya

My 383 MOPAR block is attached to my stand at the bellhousing area.

I have 4 bolts, two that don't go all the way through and two that do, but since this is a MOPAR, obviously it's different.

I'm not sure of the weight, but I have the block, heads and intake on the stand for at least ten years now with no problems.

That's all you use. Just make sure the bolts go into the hole most of the way and it will hold it fine.

Thanks. I just checked again with better lighting and found two that go all the way through.
