I just sent back a Rockauto per say ACDelco water pump. The water pump was in an ACDELCO box but after comparing the actual water pump to the one I'm replacing (which is an original ACDELCO unit) I noticed there were no casting #'s on it and the bearings were not the same. I'm not sure what's going on but it's certainly not what I expected. I'll will be very upset if they don't reimburse me for the return shipping.
I'll post some pic's so you can draw your own conclusions.
IME "professional series" parts can be open box, blemished, need to be de-burred, or some other cosmetic shortcoming that would make it less appealing on a retail shelf but have nothing what so ever to do with functionality. YMMV

I had this type of problem with RockAuto multiple times, wrong parts sent with high shipping charges and still tried to stick me with shipping. Had to back to CC Co to get rid of shipping charges. Had to stop using RockAuto except as last resort.
