I think you can also get a vacuum leak if the EGR valve is stuck in the open position. I don't remember if you still have one or not...

I think i found the vacuum leak. some questions come up.

the vacuum leak is at the passenger side the house coming out of the valve cover. see picture below for referance.

I block off the throttle body. compleately. the engine keep running at lower idle. I remove the hose from the passenger side valve cover. a lot of vacuum air coming into the intake true here.

put my finger on that hose and the engine stop inmediately.

now I unblock the throttle body, start the car but this time the vacuum on the house was minimun..

any way.what thishouse do????. can I delite this house.??? this house go from the right hand valve cover to the throttle body.

please advice

one more important thing. the hose it self I dont see no leaks. I think is taking air from inside the valve cover.

I believe you have the hose plumbed wrong. That hose brings in fresh air into the crankase from in front of the throttle body. You must have yours plumbed to the engine side of the throttle body and is allowing the throttle body to suck in air from the crankase which keeps the motor running.

On the driver's side are two large ports on the throttle body. If memory serves me correctly, the upper one has engine vacuum. Your hose is probably connected to this one. The lower pulls in air in front of the throttle body. Try this port.

Look at the driver side next to the cold start injector. Is there a hose going from here to the PCV in the valve cover ?

ok this is the same way my is set up. but yours is a better looking setup

my question at this time . what direction the air most go on this hose. out to the valve cover or in to the throttle body?????

because in my if i block the throttle body it take a lot of air into the intake.

TB sucks air from the valve cover in on the passenger side. Driver side, when the PCV opens air is sucked into the intake. If either hose has pressure blowing out when not hooked up, you have crankcase pressure.

You should not have air blowing out the valve cover. I cant see how blocking the TB would make air come out the valve cover. How are you blocking the TB ? With the MAF in place ? I cant visualize whats going on here.

air is not blowing out of the valve cover hole .when i block the throttle body.with my hand .the intake suck air true the hose .conected from throttle body to the passenger site valve cover

since it cant get the air from the front suction take alternative routing and suck the air from the above mention hose.
